Title: Fuel System
Post by: Crob on July 11, 2015, 08:17:20 pm
Not sure if this is the right place.  I have an 82 K1500. We swapped out the 6.2 for a 350 and I was wondering about the fuel system. There is an electric pump that comes on when I turn the key on.  And it still has the filter on the firewall. Is it worth switching the fuel system to what it would've had stock with a 350?

someone probably added a electric pump to the 6.2L diesel, pretty common.  I would remove the filter from teh firewal and just run it straight to the factory pump then to the carb. The link should be in the same place.  I just converted one the opposite way and used the Gas fuel lines.
