Pick-n-Pull does sales all the time, been awhile since they did Half off, but this weekend is 1/3 off for rewards members
-
what junkyard has "rewards members"

http://www.picknpull.com/
Also a snazzy website with yard locator, vehicle inventory, and price lists...It's corporate America meets junkyard

If I was a " reward member" at the boneyard, I'd think about buying a new truck.

i have to say around here we have Crazy Ray's, which is pretty cheap, and going to the yards on weekends it's kind of a festive experience---you have your hobbyists, but you also have people like me who just need a part to keep the stocker running. It's sort of like a party with parts. A small 'car town." A very jovial, even magical experience.
They have all sorts of unexpected stuff---like 60's novas up the current wrecked late models. G-bodies, some trucks. imports, domestic etc. Unusual old porches, WV''s etc.

Please tell me that nobody's truck has been broken down since July 15th waiting to get a used starter for half price.

:-[ lol

PnP is where I can find most parts for my truck. Most of these old trucks got scrapped or put to rest in farmers fields somewhere and then they want gold for the stuff.

Since Pick-N-Pull started finding your car for you, there's always a line 6 miles long and I'm too Type A to deal with that. I go down the street to Pick-A-Part 'cause it's locally owned and usually a little cheaper. They have frequent sales, but it's infested with gangsters and ex-cons when they do. Pretty sketchy last time I was there.
