Title: 1980 c10 stepside shortbed HELP please

Hi I need help, well at least my wife says so, anyways I have a 1980 c10 stepside shortbed, I just got a 1983 c20 longbed at a real good price for the motor and the front clip, will the 83 front clip fit my 80 stepside, will I have any problems or will it fit right on. I do need all the help I can find. Thanks :D

It will fit, but it won't "bolt on" without some modifications.  The cowl area needs a hole cut in it so the hood springs will bolt down.  Check these pages: www.coloradok5.com/grilleswap.shtml

Just the cowl wont fit without mod or do you mean the whole front clip. Thanks:(

Thank you 86 4x4, How about the doors will they fit, Also will I have to change the 80 inner fenders to the 83 inners. And one more ? :o  Is there any web sites that show a step by step on how to do this , this is the frist time I'm doing this. Thanks for all of your time :D

Yes, the ones I listed above.  You need the WHOLE clip off the '83, this includes the inner fenders.  77-91 doors are identical so you don't need to swap these.
