Title: 86 Chevy C-10 Silverado Short Bed Custom
Post by: cordell on July 23, 2015, 02:22:14 pm
Hello all,
I recently purchased an 86 Silverado truck with short bed that had been completed to the last owners satisfaction. I am limited on the information that I have on the motor due to the dealer not being able to give me the last owners info. He also hasn't any information on the mechanic that upgraded the original 350 to the present 383 stroker it has now. I don't know what cam it has but I certainly can tell it's not stock!

I would like to correspond with anyone (and everyone) that is currently upgrading their 86 Silverado or similar truck. My interior is stock except for an added  CD player, headliner, and a few other modifications. My next project on my truck will be putting after market air back in the rascal. Another project I will be looking at in the future will be the engine compartment. It is now a flat black and I want it hi gloss. Well I have a ton to say on this baby but I will wait and see if anyone is interested before I add more. Take care and God bless. Rick (aka cordell)

Why put aftermarket AC in it?  It already has the box there, just looks like you are missing the Evap in the box and the rest of the AC components.
What are you wanting to know about upgrading?

Nice Truck by the way...
