Title: Rear end identification 1990

I have a 1990 1/2 ton 2wd Suburban. I'm trying to identify the rear end. It has ten bolts holding the cover on,but it has a odd shape. It looks like a cross between a 12 bolt and Dana rear end. It appears to be original to the truck. It has 5 lugs and drum brakes.

I'm needing some parts for it, so I want to be able to accurately ID it.

all the 82-91 1/2-ton trucks/burbs/blazers got GM Corp. 8.5" 10-bolt rears

Thanks......it does not look like any of those.....it's not round or oval. The two bolts on the drivers side and passenger side are farther apart than the other bolt spacing.

It has a Dana or 12 bolt shape to it.  I have no way of posting a picture.

I have done a lot of searching to no avail. It's an unusual looking GM differential

From pictures I have found, it looks like a Dana 60. Im surprised it's on a 2wd, and it does have 5 lugs.

take some pictures and show us. never seen a 5 lug 60 but mopar did use them, even on randys ring pinion it only says the 8.5 (10 bolt) and 9.5 (14 bolt) might not be stock idk ???
but Dana 60 has a build date (MM/DD/Y) and bill of materials numbers stamped into the back of the passenger-side axle tube
