Title: Finally got one.

I finally purchased a c-10. It's a 73. No rust in the rockers, corners, or cab supports. There is a bit behind the rear wheels, but I really can't be mad about that. It's got a Vortec 350 crate motor, 205 case, and 4 speed. It's got 33's on 15x14 centerline wheels. The front fenders were cut to fit these monsters, and will be going away soon enough. I'm very happy with my purchase, the body is in good condition, and the bad stuff is minor mechanical. Works out good for me, I'm not a body man.

This should work. Yes the hood is very yellow, but the matching one had Chevy hood. This one is solid.

Nice, your hood is very yellow yes haha. I noticed it looks like the truck used to have a sun visor (little dots at top corners & middle  of windshield). Also the truck has 79-80 headlight bezels.

That could be. The cab was originally black, and the front clip was red. I guess I'll have to figure that out when I order fenders. Also, it did have a visor when I bought it. Had a new windshield put in Wednesday, and had the guys take it off. I didn't like it. I'm planning on making this thing a very basic, stock looking truck. I'd like to do an ls swap, and a 700r4, but the current running gear is solid, so that's last on the list.
