Title: Driving by a lemonade stand.
Post by: fitz on August 06, 2015, 05:12:35 pm
I drove by a lemonade stand in my M1028 today.  As I was stopped at a red light, I could see the kids that were running the stand across the intersection pointing at my truck.
As I started moving when the light turned green, the boys were yelling "gas it, gas it".
I put the pedal to the floor for a quick second.
The boys jumped & cheered for the noise the 6.2 made, but deep down, I think we were all a little disappointed in its performance.

Add a couple of air horns and it won't make any difference how fast it launches....   8)

LMbO, who cares how fast it goes, if it sounds like an NHRA dragster wide open and your goin no where fast, it's gonna make kids happy. Heck, it makes me giggle haha

That's a great story I laughed pretty loud. All my trucks pretty much do the same thing.
