Title: Stock engine color.

Anyone have a clue what the engine color was in the c-10's from the 70's? Factory color of the block/heads, intake and valve covers?  Chevy orange?  GM blue? Black?

If I remember correctly it was Chevy orange through 1976 and GM blue 1977 till the early 80's.  My 1984 has black valve cover.

While doing a Google search I found that it was said that 1983 the engine color went to black.

That does sound about right.  GM blue it is.  (On my 77 c-10)
