Three things to fire, spark, fuel, timing. If your getting spark and fuel at the cylinders, make sure plugs are in right location, and timing is close

If no spark try simple/cheap things first. Do you have a cheap test light? Key in Run position, hot both sides of all fuses? Good? check red wire on distributor, red wire along back of engine bay going to a black junction box above the distributor, see if connections good there I have seen problems there as well. Key in off position, Check fusible links/connection/wire at starter

P.S. Just in case I forgot to mention you can check Blade fuses in the fuse block, thats what the little metal tabs are on the back of them are for.

like stated check the easy things first. make sure your getting 12v to the red wire on the distributor with the key on and when trying to start

did the truck just stall or one day not want to start?
theres also a pick-up coil under the distributor rotor and a icm (ignition control module) that will go bad and cause a no start
