Title: Rust holes in body

I have a 79 silverado 5.7 2wd. I live in TN she's my project but she has rust holes going all the way through. Other than floor panels nothing bigger than 4 in. What's the best way to fix this.?

pics would be nice, but with rust through would normally call for whole panel replacement, as the rest of the panel gets pretty thin

Replacement is best, but POR is making a silver product that has metal in it for fixing pin holed areas.

Cut the rust out and weld in new metal but usually it's easier to just find rust free parts and replace it.

I hate rust nor do i tolerate it, full metal replacement.  Use titanium, its rustproof.  Nah, steel is fine, get it welded in properly and paint.

Yes, cut, weld, replace. Paint with good quality paint, and keep it clean is the only way to fix it and keep it fixed.

Depends on where the rust is, and or how bad it is whetherit should be repaired, or replace the panel. Also depends on if your looking to repair for long term, or if your just looking to get a few years out of the truck.
