Hello,
So I just picked up my 77 K10. 350 w/ SM465 Trans. In the process and making the 77 road ready. The transmission seems "OK". The shifter stick has a lot of play in it. I looked around trying to see if I could locate a new shifter, but have had no luck. Any ideas? Is there a way to fix the problem without buying a new shifter or do I need to attempt to find on in a junk yard. Thanks for any help.

Youtube sm465 shifter slop. There is a guy who did a bunch of things to his which cleaned up a good chunk of slop found in the shifters.
