My left turn signal has stopped correcting after making the turn. So I plan to replace the cam, my question due I have to remove the steering wheel to do so? I do have tilt wheel if that makes a difference.
Thanks,

It's probably not the cam. Much more likely it is the cancelling spring(s), which are available in a kit (Dorman 49312 (http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/MTM0/49312.oap?year=1987&make=Chevrolet&model=R10%2BPickup%2BRWD&vi=5002897&ck=Search_49312_5002897_3505&keyword=49312)) and easily replaced by removing just the steering wheel and steering lock plate.
