Title: Drag Link
Post by: Will84K10 on November 05, 2015, 10:51:43 am
So I installed my lift a week ago then decided to come into Firestone to get an alignment. The guy here is trying to tell me that I need a drop pitman arm even though I have a raised steering arm and the angle looks the exact same as when it was stock. Anyone know more about this? Thanks.

How much lift? 4-6. Should be fine with raised arm.
Steering wheel may or may not sit straight tho.

The short drag link from the raised arm to the gearbox will not shorten enough IIRC to bring the steering wheel back straight due to the geometry of the lift and steering.
