I've heard bits and pieces online about people swapping a Colorado A/C unit into their trucks, but I never found any solid how to write ups.
I purchased a box from an 07 Colorado, and it arrived yesterday. Mounting the unit is pretty straight forward from the looks of it. Most of it seems to be controlled mechanically. There are a couple of plugs on the unit, one or both are for the blower motor it would seem. I need to track down a set of diagrams for it.
The reason for this post is to see if anyone else has heard about the swap, has done it, or might have any info about it. For the most part, I think I can figure it out, but what it stumping me at the moment is making it work with the A/C controls that are in my dually already.

Here's some of the evaporator box. I haven't done anything with it yet, but I'm getting back on my 74 soon, so it's on the list to figure out.

I like this too especially considering where I live now. I hate the handler and evaporator setup in these trucks and any better efficiency to keep me cool would be great...maybe I'd actually use my A/C for a change.. As I get older I feel like I need it!
