Title: Cummins Swap Info
Post by: bajaburban on November 14, 2015, 08:38:35 pm
I haven't been on here in ages, but I know this is a very common topic. I do about 10 swaps a year.  I'm willing to help with any questions you guys might have.

Thank you Chris. I know how popular these swaps are becoming and just how much bad info there is. I won't let you down.

Hey baja, Tim sent me your way. While not a Cummins question, as I'm doing a 6.5/nv4500 swap, I'm curious what it takes to get the clutch set up right. I've got a 4x4 nv4500 that I'll swap to 2wd or trade for one, and maybe do a 4x4 swap with the truck eventually, but the trans will stay 2wd so I can use an older TC with the correct drop and such, if I even go that route. It may stay 2WD.

In either case, I've got the slave and master and pedal from the GMT truck. I'm guessing I'll need a squarebody pedal and master though. Any help on installation is appreciated!
