Title: New to the group have questions for the group
Post by: Joe_Boy74 on November 15, 2015, 07:47:01 pm
I recently bought a 1974 C-10 stepside, the truck has been rodded out and upgraded, it has the original 350 with a new camshaft, headers, exhaust,.... What's the best Holley Carb to use as a temporary until I swap out next year? It has a 750 pump on it which is burning gas like heck, I need to downgrade and get better gas mileage any help please?

a 350 in stock form will only need 505 or so cfms.

Sticking with Holley I would suggest the 4160. It's a 600cfm with vacuum secondaries and should treat you very well.

Quick Fuel makes a good carb, the Slayer series is affordable but has some nice features for the price.
