Need to know if fenders from a 1981 will fit the 77?

yes the fender will fit but you will need to do some other work. you will have to replace both fenders the inner fenders battery tray hood grill rad support and you will also have to cut some slots in the cab for the newer hinges. the old hinges bolted directly to the fender but the new ones mount to the firewall

You would have to convert the complete frontend to the 81-87 version if you want to use those fenders.

I aslo have a 77' short wide and was wondering if there are any tutorials on the internet and pictures of how to update the front end to a 81-87?
