Look for the attachments and other options button below the text box and click on that.  If it says your picture is to large you will need to resize it down to under 256K, I use the resizing feature in Paint and a 800x600 picture usually is under that size

Awesome thanks for the quick response! I just read the how-to on this in the tech section and I think I figured it out now, I'm uploading off of my cell phone so I'm using a bit different resizing method but I think I'll get it to work, I'm gonna gather up some pictures off the progress I've made since the first day last year and see if I can get some up!

Alright so here we go, here's my progress since the first day I picked it up right around this time last year. From New york, 1987 Chevy V-10 5.7 350, bought it from a local guy for 500 bucks not running. Says he was original owner and he strated working on it in later years (messed it up more than anything) then he gave it to his son and It sat for years before I got it as his son was supposed to be working on it now and that never worked out. So I got it in pretty rough shape and have spent any free time I've had all summer on it, here's how it was the first night I got it home and a few days after

Had some nice days and began to strip the frame down with a wire wheel and clean everything up and get ready for paint

Frame all painted up and ready to go, my intentions on this truck were to get it looking decent for as cheap as possible, frame was painted with a rust converter, several coat, and black rusto enamel rattle canned on several costs.

Next I started framing out for some kind of flat bed, bought pressure treated 2x4's and 4x4's and got to work, I also mocked up this "road warrior's" bumper the guy threw In with the truck. I took some measurments for some brackets to mount it permanent since I only had the bumper and no mounting hardware or brackets lol I got the measurments and had my buddy mill some bracket out of half inch steel, while he was getting the brackets done for me I decided to clean up the bumper and paint that with the same method as the frame, looks good, cheap and has held up well so far.

After that was finished up I began to cut the wood I would use the top or deck of the flat bed. I milled all the wood out of some red oak we dropped a few seasons back, this during was the milling process. Then let them sit a few days on saw horses and then coated them with a urethane. I used helmsman spar urethane 3 coats.

After many, many, hours of sanding with a cheapo walmart sander, the true colors started to show! Next was time time for a coat of primer, I did the infamous 50 dollar paint job on this truck and was very pleased with the results. I sprayed it with rusto rusty metal primer mixed with mineral spirits through a cheapo harbor freight gun.

Primer all sprayed on, starting to look a bit better!

After primer cured up it was time for the final color, the color selections at my local walmart was pretty slim. My options were like a smurf blue, smoke grey which looked like primer, school bus yellow, leather brown, or sunrise red. So...  I chose the sun rise red, sketchy at first but after it was sprayed on I really like it. It grows more and more each day and I was very pleased with the way the rustoleum sprayed on and covered!

It's a 350 TBI, and yup got the 700r4 np208 combo, and thanks I really like how it came out also, especially cause the wood didnt cost me anything haha but thanks for the compliments guys feels awesome after all the hard work. I'll upload some interior pics tomorrow its A LOT cleaner now but not quite finished up yet the Interor was VERY rough as you can see I'm the pics above, and engine work is next in my list after I figure out some issues I'm having with lights lol I just got it running and did basic maintenance on it which I'm sure hadn't been done in years before that if ever. Oil changec, plugs and wires, cap and rotor, runs pretty dang good for sitting for a bunch of years, just takes a bit to crank over sometimes I haven't figured that out yet. I plan to put it on the road this Monday and work out the kinks as I drive it more and more!

Only real engine issues when I first got it were just from sitting for a long time, so I just did all the usual maintence to be safe, that as well as a different throttle body of a 90s truck, re-did all the wiring in the cab and hooked up an ecm out of a scrap truck and finally got it to fire. That along with all new fuel lines, fuel pump and sending unit and it seems to run pretty good now. Only issues I ever have are hard starts sometimes and after it idles for a while and warms up it seems to want to cut out sometimes, more so when I try to put it into gear. I have read about this and what some causes could be I just haven't had time to concentrate on it yet I've just been trying to get it on the road before winter hits here in ny lol I'll see the real problems if any, start arising as I began driving it daily I'm sure.

Put some Seafoam in your gas for a couple tankfuls.

I have heard of sea foam, what does that stuff really do?

I'll try the sea foam if this stuff I tried today doesn't work out! I've used seafoam in small engines before but never on my vehicles. I'm running through some techtron right now. It's an injector cleaner, my pops says it's good stuff so well see. I put it on the road today and took it for the first ride! Felt awesome and passed inspection with flying colors. I'm going to also start replacing sensors just for piece of mind and see what difference it makes. I seen a good thread on here about troubleshooting sensors and what they do, I'm still learning a lot honestly. But the only issue I had driving today were coming to stop lights or trying to back into a parking spot it would stall out. I've read threw a few threads here and tried this techtron so well so how it goes, I'll come back with results after work tomorrow! Next step after I figure this out is to clean up the engine bay and finish up my interior! Alot of people gave me good advice about a simple minimalist engine bay so that's what I'm gonna shoot for after its running smoothly and then maybe some tbI mods 8)

Not even it's manufacturers really know what it does.
