Title: Startup after Rewire

I'm about to try to startup my 83 C10 after a complete rewire of truck, added electric fuel pump and electric fan, any suggestios before I install battery and try cranking

Install the battery and, before cranking the engine, energize the fuel pump and thoroughly inspect for fuel leaks; check the various electrical appliances one at a time for proper function; check the engine fluid levels.  You don't need your attention spread too thin on too many things at once, so check as many things as possible ahead of time while you have better control of the outcome.

Make sure you have good solid, tight grounds between battery and chassis and engine. Also a real quick dummy check...look at your starter connections and make sure they are not going to ground on the block, exhaust manifold/headers.
