Hey guys i need help, if anyone knows anything about painting with decals and all, i need your help. Im wanting to put a sticker in my headliner and paint over it, and when i peel off the sticker, it will have kind of a stencil effenct if yall know what i mean... but here is my question. Should i peel the sticker while the paint is still wet? or wait for it to completely dry before i remove it???
I havent really experimented with it, so if anyone has any suggestions plzzzz lemme know. thx in advance.

I have never done any stencil vinyl on interior parts, but when I have done single stage ones I waited until it was dry. Base / clear coat I pull it right before I spray the clear.

I always remove stickers and tape before paint is dry that way the paint you laid down hasn't dried to the sticker/tape and conveniently peels off in large sheets or tiny pieces at the edges.
