Get some Stainless polish, one will take a bit more elbow grease put they will look chrome like when you are done...
-
Ok, i'll give it a try. The drivers side looks like new. But the pass is a little dull. I didnt know i could bring back that "mirror like" finish. Thanks

Those shiny mirrors I put on my truck that are for towing that I made the post about, those look chrome but infact are polished stainless steel.
-
Wow! Whats the stuff you used?
-
Uhh, magic. I haven't polished them yet, they were brand new NOS, I didn't have to polish them, they looked like they were made the morning I got them. Eventually when I do clean them, I'll probably use some of the commercial stuff we use at work or mothers polish or something. I don't know yet.

Ok, i'll look for something.

I think I use Wizard's on my semi. Expensive but works great. California Purple, Zephyr 40, and ? magic bunny something or other also work well.

The mirrors on my '73 GMC have the same head as yours and were NOS when I installed them 17 years ago. Other than a few places of minor scuffing, they're still extremely shiny.

I'll look for one of those brands. Right now those stupid mice became priority!

Yup, cant beat oem.

Flitz is good. Use mechanical buffer, your arms will thank you no matter which polish you use.
