Title: 66 Chevy C10
Post by: jculver on April 28, 2005, 03:45:00 am
I have a 66 Chevy C10 I need to know what year model frams I can use to have disk brakes and the cab bolts match up.

                                                           Thanks

The front crossmember from a 71-87 pickup will go under your truck without swapping frames and will automatically get you discs.

Are you looking to swap the cab onto a newer chassis? If so the cab mounts up to 72 are the same, and the wheel base is the same as well. The core support mounts need to come from your 66 and mounted onto the 72 frame. The wheel base from 73 up is approx. 2 or so inches longer.
