Nobody in their right mind would make a bumper out wood. Not safe and completely impractical as a safety feature.

ive seen them as a "home made" deal i think just for inspection but like enabrif said there wouldnt be anything beneficial to them as safety wise most times its just a 2x8 with bolt holes
