Hi all, haven't quite found a reasonable answer to the following,
I have a parts C30 dually with a 350, hydro-boost brakes, 13 inch drums- I would like to take that hydro-boost and put it in my K10(6.5 turbo-diesel), which has the 11-7/8" drums
would that hydro-boost work? and for the master, would I just order one for a K10 hydro-boost, or would I need to get the 1-ton master?
from what I've seen, there are different hydro-boost sizes, and I do understand the size differences in the master, I would just like to know if/what parts would work in my situation; like if I can use a 1 ton hydro, a 1/2 ton master should bolt right up? push rod shouldn't change?(like from vacuum to hydro the rod changes)
Thanks guys

i never touched one from a ½ ton only the one in my 1 ton. i would think you can use the pump off the 1 ton and that might be it. the hose fittings might be different sizes on the master im not sure, im going to have to do a little research myself. you should have a smaller push rod on the ½ ton vacuum vs the hydro.

If you're worried about booster sizing use one for a 78-91 1/2 ton that was equipped with a diesel engine. I'd just use the unit you have and not worry about it.
They do carry different part #s so I wouldn't use a 1/2 ton booster on a 1 ton truck but the other direction will likely be just fine.
