The original buckets in my '74 are weather-beaten and rebuilding them will cost too much for this project. I'm also missing the original rear bench. I'm contemplating swapping in some different seats. I actually need 6 seats so ideally I'm looking for a split 60/40 bench for the front. I'm perfectly capable of fabricating whatever brackets I need, etc. What I need are suggestions on what cars/trucks made in the last 40 - 50 years would have come with a split bench that would work?
I'm thinking my best bet would be to look for an extended cab full sized pickup with a front bench. Any suggestions on which makes/models/years? I'd do my own R&D, but I don't have any junk yards near me that keep anything older than 5 years, and they won't allow anyone to enter the yard. Nearest pick-a-part type yard is 2 hours away, so I'd like to have a list of potential donors before I make such a trip
Thanks!

My 97 Silverado extended cab has a 60/40 split bench. The middle seat (20% part of the 60 half of the 60/40) is a fold up/down center console and the whole 60 half is power adjusting. It's a comfortable seat too.

That's the same set up I had in my old 98 Silverado extended cab Z-71. Although I know the 88-98 style trucks and full sized SUV's were narrower than the square bodies so you'd have much larger gaps between your seat and doors.

Thanks for the suggestions. :)
