I know its totally up to me, but i like them all. Leaning towards red/white or any of the yellows. Might be starting this body project soon.

I would say blue and white all the way. But, I hate red vehicles with a passion and baby feces brown has never been a good color to me. Now, a darker shade of burnt orange could be a good color. Black with grey that has a tiny bit of blue pearl in it looks sweet too.
Of course, it's your truck so the only opinion that matters is yours. If you want flamingo pink and neon green with bass boat metal flake then do it. Whatever makes you happy.

My vote on your truck would be to keep it the original green color.
Its a clean looking truck.
If your gonna change it, blue and white looks great on these trucks.
-
Your last picture of the red and white truck 73,74, 75 whatever.......but the red interior gotta go.....
-
I agree, i like the red/white, NOT the red int.

Corrected below...

You mean this boring green color, i like the two tone...
It only looks good cuz the sun is hitting it just right.

Actually a deeper darker red ......fire engine maybe.......with a saddle tan interior....primo
-
Hey, thats not a bad idea!! You may have something there.
-
Honestly, I think it's beautiful just the way it is.
-
Thanks LTZ! I do have a couple cancer spots and i stink at body work, i might as well patch with play doh or silly putty. I'm doing a lot of research to find someone who can patch it correctly. Then i'll worry about painting.
-
Your welcome. I don't see that color often and yours is in good shape so it's refreshing. If you really wanted to repaint it 2 tone, maybe it's current color and white could be considered. Really tho, it looks great as it currently sits.
-
All i need now is a $3 pre heater hose and i am DONE under the hood. Just cleaned up and painted the alternator gm gun metal machine delco remy gray. Vile said my alt and pre heater hose were ugly. He was right, so im doing something about it.
Soon i'll get a short video together of the new engine running.
This post should be on my "bad vibration" thread.

Existing green and silver would look good

Where would the silver go?
-
Use the silver where the white is on the blue one. I like dark colors black, midnight blue, dark purple, maroon, and charcoal grey. For 2 tone black or blue with silver or maroon and white.
-
Mustard yellow and woodgrain?

Mustard yellow and woodgrain?
I think we have a winner. Wood grain sticker, airbrushed paint or real wood? Lmao
-

This is the best two tone scheme on a 73-91 series truck in my opinion:

Black and silver. And no, i'm NOT a raiders fan.
But yeah, i think staying green is a good move.

That woodgrain is bad apples

the sales pitch of that has me laughing
"does the mere sight of a mini-truck bring thoughts of cramped legs, bruised knees and chafed elbows and your head bumping against the headliner?"
"five tons of rolling metal-think about that for a moment. nobody argues with five tons when its time to change lanes. its like driving the tank you always wanted for the freeway wars. hit the turn signal and the traffic in the other lane backs off. knowing pancake city is only a moment away as you move over. twenty feet and five tons of truck can be very persuasive"

Whats wrong with that 73 woodgrain, you posted that a while back. I took a liking to it. Very rare combo, i have never seen that anywhere.
-
Yea the wood grain is cool, if your making a scale replica of the Brady Bunch house. Lol
-
Lol, its a weird thing man, i just cant explain why i dig it. Maybe it just shouts the 70's in a big way. Total brady brunch.

Who said there is anything wrong with it? I love it
-
Ok, i didnt understand "bad apples" ?
Oh wait, you mean bad as in "good"
Question: does that yellow/woodgrain color belong to gmc or did any of the chevys come out that way?
