Just got a 81 Chevy Scottsdale and need body parts. I live in Southeast Louisiana and was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere close I can get a stepside bed, doors, bed fenders and tailgate. I would like to be able to drive and get them before ordering from . The cabs in great condition and the engine is tight. I can't wait to get this baby looking right.

Post by: dez81 on November 18, 2005, 05:53:00 pm: Found a door in great shape at the local junk yard. Perfect fit. I bought a tailgate from a few weeks ago. All I need now is a bed feder. I'll order it soon and body work will be complete.

Post by: usmcchevy on November 20, 2005, 10:56:00 am: pretty much anywere in the southwest like arizona, texas, new mexico is the best place to go. i got the bed for my 77 from texas and its perfect no rust anywere. i'd never find anything like that here in indiana.
