Anyone out ther have a holley carb on a daily driver and love it? Stock configuration, not high performance.

Rochester all the way IMO.

Thats whats on there now, not running as smooth on the 350 as the 305. I think Vile is going to do a couple final adjustments. Actually it idles and runs very smooth, starts are a little rough and still a pop when i floor it. But no pop when i floor it from a dead stop. And,,,shouldnt i be able to roast the tires? Feels a little boggy. IMO. But i am not complaining, we'll see...

Rough start, probably a choke pull-off adjustment. Bogging could be your secondaries opening to soon, again a slight adjustment to stiffen up the spring for the secondary flaps. I raced circle track, I know they can be dialed in to perfection

Thats exactly what the guy at National Carb said. Thats where i got it about a year ago.

Let Vile fine tune it, it'll be the next best thing to fuel injection when he is done. I have had a few trucks that I could jump right in it set the choke, fire it up in a revolution or two and take right off in the dead of winter without even a hick up...

Yup, thats the plan.

I think I posted this somewhere else, anyway, yeah..Vile did a final tune-up and the qjet is running perfect. Holly-shmolly..
