Title: difference between model year dash pads?
Post by: kursed on December 07, 2005, 11:33:00 pm
ok for starters i have a 76 step and today i ran across an 86 suburban with an excellent shape original dash pad and bezel. my question is will the later years interchange with the early years? im not concerned about trim differences just wondering if the 86 will actually fit to my 76 dash?

I have a 91 suburban dash pad in my 74 blazer so the answer is yes

Yes it will fit.  There will be a VIN hole in the dash, but it will fit.

73-78 had the VIN on the door post, 79-91 have the VIN on the dash.
