The funny thing is that this all started because I needed to replace the left fork oil seal.. now both are done and the bike is...well diffrent. I'm gonna do the rims black, center of the rotors orange, calipers orange and all the chrome black. I watched a video of a 3/8" extension coated with plasti-dip and a high temp heat gun.. I think I'm gonna try the exhaust as well. We will see.

One FYI if you ever find yourself needing to remove the front axle from a Suzuki Boulevard you need a 24mm allen wrench or a special axel removal tool that cost more than I want to spend along with waiting on shipping... well the balance bolt for the 6.0 is 24mm and in conjunction with a pipe wrench will remove the 78ftlb of initial torque with ease!

Lol so the bike is orange now, nice.

Yea but just a little bit. .. I'm hoping it will increase my odds of being seen and decrease my odds of getting hit especially considering where I live now

Haha cool! I like using Plasti Dip to see if I like a color/idea before actually committing to it with real paint.
-
It definitely stands out compared to its original color.

Oh yea...if that were it's sole purpose it would still be worth it. I don't know how long I will keep it like this. I just got the triple tree blacked up a bit and I still need to do the front wheel while it's off and the brake rotors.

Update...only a few more things to color like the rear wheel, tach and air cleaners but I think it came out good. Plasti-dip is much more forgiving than paint.

Looks good, thought i recognized that nice blue truck in the background. Did you put that LS3 in?

No the LQ4 is hiding behind the tool box still blown apart. I'm cleaning up my garage and then cleaning the block for reassembly. I still gotta swap pistons as well.
