I know we have some that have gotten a 6.0 but how much did you pay. This deal is a engine trans ecm wire harness and trans is 4x2 for 900
-
Miles on units, year of donor vehicle and trans model?
-
2006 trans has 10k on it (rebuilt) miles on the engine unknown afaik
-
Half ton? 3/4 ton? I'm guessing it's a 3/4 of 1 ton if it's a 6.0 unless it's out of a Denali or VortecMax.
-
dont know why but i thought i put its a 4l80e
-
6.0 with unknown miles, 4L80e with 10k on rebuild, plus ecm and harness. I'd say I would definitely want to know how many miles are on it, then you can evaluate the price and compare to like deals in the area.
-
900 for a 6L and trans with harness and ecm is a good deal. Even better if its already pulled
-
The pick a part here sells any engine for 350 bucks id buy one if i knew it wasnt toast 900 is a good price with a 4l80e and harness

just went on a 5 hr trip one way to get a cummins engine out of a 89 dodge with 90k. comes with the dodge adapter and flex plate and starter and a chevy adapter with the chevy flywheel and starter. have 2k into that deal. but the 6.0 guy supposedly sold the engine/transmission and now with this new cummins im going to have to put everything else on hold.
i have a few options right now. the main reason i got the cummins was just for the chevy adapter plate and flywheel, they go for 500-700 and thats a good price ive seen them go for more. so lets say i have 1500 into the cummins. ill be able to sell the motor for 2000-2500 and make some money OR pull my industrial cummins out with unknown millage and put the new one in then resell my old cummins for about 2k OR just keep them both lol. i wonder how the cummins will hold up in the mud truck?

That works too.
