Title: Need some hose help...
Post by: jwjones on April 17, 2016, 03:31:22 pm
Hope this is the right place to post this.  Maybe y'all can point me in the right direction here.  There's a set of hoses near the carb that's all corroded and falling apart at the connections.  Looks like it's a total of 4 hoses that are part of this little cluster.  Can definitely hear a hissing leak, so it's something I want to fix up ASAP.  I'm just not sure where to find this exact hose/connector set.  I showed it to the guy at O'Reilly, hoping they'd maybe have what I need but they were clueless.

(edit:  This is on 1979 small block 350 Custom Deluxe, 4bbl)

those are just rubber vacuum hoses - buy a few feet of it in bulk or whatever you need and replace the hoses - just take a piece of hose to the parts guy but i think they are 1/4 inch - and just hook them to  each port on the thermal vacuum switch ( no fancy connector needed - the hissing is a vacuum leak which should be hurting mileage and performance
