Does anybody know where I can find one of these spare tire carriers? From what I understand they aren't very common. I don't really care if it's nos or a repro but I've been searching online and haven't come up with much. Thought you guys might have an inside scoop. Thanks in advance!

Also I'm sorry if this isn't the place for this thread. Feel free to move it if so.

Those were usually found on the chalet k5 blazers. They were only in production in 76 and 77. I believe I have recently seen one for sell on a Facebook group. I'll see if I can hunt it down.

If you have Facebook, get ahold of this guy. Still up for grabs as of yesterday. (http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160425/d9f2f2b5d0a41e5ae9791d8fbce51b0c.jpg)

As an option and one I will eventually do. Mount a modified class III hitch between the front frame rails centering it where the front license plate is. Cut a hole in the front bumper and if a front license plate is required put a flip down plate bracket. Make a bracket that slides in just like a receiver hitch when you need to carry it. Local, just put it in the garage. Makes moving a trailer easy when you need to and mount a platform on it to stand on when working on the engine. My $.02

dang I might have to look into that receiver idea that's pretty great. I'm in Iowa so it's a little far to ship that whole bumper but thanks for the help guys! Are these things super rare or is everyone just hoarding them?
