Title: Questions about lowering 76 c20
Post by: chris.c20 on May 02, 2016, 01:47:45 pm
Never lowered a vehicle before - and i need a kit, and/or advice on lowering my 2wd 76 camper special 3/4 ton. Im doing a complete restoration. Frame cab and bed are done, just doing some other things before i assemble it. It currently has a 14 bolt rear with disc brakes 3.73 gears i believe. I guess what im asking is if its possible to lower it about 3 inches, what kit/parts to buy. I have stock 3/4 ton frontend components already but i can sell those quickly if needed. Also tire size needed would be appreciated if anyone's done this. Thanks in advance

Hey not sure if you found any info but DjM sells a 3"/4" drop for that truck.  Comes with 3" lowering lower control arms, front leaf spring hangers and drop shackles. Kit#DJM2655-3/4
