Hey guys
Question I have a new short box 2wd frame i need to swap out with my old frame that is twisted. Ive started assembling the rear suspension on the new frame but my old frame was a 52 leaf and the new is 56. I have lowered the truck in the rear with a flip kit in the rear and wanted to keep the old springs but didnt realize the different size. My old leaf is a 52 inch (4/1) I think. Can I duplicate that spring in a 56? am I gonna run into problems or do they even make a 56 with that little leafs? Will i run into problems taking lost of leafs out of a 56? will it affect my flip kit? Thanks

Just move the front spring mount, grind out all the rivets and then use 7/16 grade 8 bolts. The holes should be there to move it back, I've never had to drill.

im 90% sure I dont have holes to move them back. I think the frame is a 73-80. Ill double check though that would be awesome if i could just move the mount

If you can't move the mount, I believe that there are springs available 4/1 with 56 inch length.
