Post by: zliss4398 on May 08, 2016, 10:26:25 am
My 1986 Chevy k20 is starting and running but once it runs for 10-15 seconds it shuts off. Anyone have any idea? Thanks

Is it losing spark? Check the ignition module and pickup coil

if it is carbureted when it cuts off pull the air filter off and and operate the carburetor by the linkage at the carburetor and see if you see fuel being pumped in the carburetor....if y9u see fuel then it is an ignition problem...if you don't see fuel it is a fuel problem.
