In an 1985 stepside are the door sill plates the plastic or metal ones ? If you can attach pictures of your 85 sill plates

they are plastic, mine is a 84 Custom Deluxe but they are all the same

Pretty sure as the floor hasn't changed in the cabs as far as I know...

they will all fit but a Silverado should have the aluminum sill plates

I don't believe mine was a Silverado, all it had when I got it was 6 cylinder, 3spd on column, manual brakes and heat. There was no stock carpet or sills in it when I got it.

Customizing the interior to be solid black, so I thought if the newer sills would work I would buy the plastic ones.
