Title: Th400 issues

Got a th400 in a 82 c10 behind a 454. Day before yesterday i drove it all day fishing and such. Then next day i get ready for work and it wouldnt shift out of park. It was even trying to do anything. Today i go out to do some trouble shooting but i worked just fine.  Fluid is at the half way mark with truck warm. Theres been a hard shift going into drive and reverse since i bought the truck. Replaced the vacuum modulator on side of trans but not luck. Gonna drop pan and take a look and change filter. Any thoughts on what could be going on?

Make sure the pick up tube and o-ring are properly installed.
