Anyone install a vinyl carpet in a 80s K series? I'm wondering how it covers the floor. Especially the area under the seat down to the rocker (raised curved area) with nothing to hold it down.

If no-one responds i can take a pic of my factory setup. But i'm very busy.

Ask chris about them. He sells them and from what I hear they are nice. I prefer carpet but if you buy one here's the place to get it http://store.73-87chevytrucks.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=7&Product_Code=ACC-VNL&Category_Code=FLRNG

Thanks for your reply guys. Truth be told I picked up an ACC kit for very little money via ebay. I would very much like to have supported the forum store but I couldn't pass this deal up. This truck has been a heartbreak. Purchased it right before a strike (bad) and the seller completely misrepresented it's condition.
Anyway it's in. My flooring was very long in the front and a bit wide. All in all I'm pleased with it. Helped to have a buddy help wrestle with it.

Carpet is great if she isn't still working for a living.
Nothing like Vinyl for easy clean up. Just vacuum the loose stuff up and clean out with simple green a sponge and two buckets. 10 minutes max. The only truck with carpet is my 76 K20 Silverado. I have Vinyl in my 2000 GMT400 & 1984 M1008 and molded rubber in my 1972 F250 & 1967 W200 Dodge. Of the big three Dodge is the hardest to find parts for... The guy that had the rubber floor for that Dodge no longer sells em.

Agreed with your comments.
On my K5 I do have a rug in the passenger area. I removed the back seat and made a custom flooring from a truck bed line.
Love the spit shine cleanup!
