This should probably go in the interior section, but it's too big news:

i'm tempted.

My honest, honest opinion on this, it's terrible. It looks cheap and cheesy, the shape doesn't appear practical or physically appealing, it's not worth the time or effort. It's uglier than the south end of a north bound moose. These trucks deserve better. Even a completely rusted out pile of junk truck doesn't deserve to have that in it. If I needed a dash for "competition", I would just modify the factory dash to suit my requirements. I'm not at all impressed.
That's just my opinion tho.

I probably wouldn't put it in my driver, kind of a stickler for at least looking "original". For a mud toy though, if I had an extra $500 lying around, who knows. Maybe.
-
I agree, it doesn't look that great, but it does provide space for just about any gauge or accessory you would want. Then again if you are willing to tear out the original dash, you probably wouldn't mind drilling and modifying the original ;D
I still think it's a good idea.

Cant beat a nice factory look. Keep it classic.

Yeah man,,right off the assembly line!! Best look ever!! Old boring grandpa look, love it!!!
Is there at least one out there who agrees?
-
I do, I love the way the factory dash looks.
-
Amen, i guess its a choice. Custom or factory. I think chevy got it right the first time.
-
Not exactly something I would put in anything I own. I think the reason most of choose to modify or update our gauges to fit in the factory panel is to retain the factory styling. If you are going to go for all out mutilation I would at least try to get something that has style which that thing does not have.

and the law might have something to say about the vin plate. theres no way to make it look stock unless you get a cop to look at it before

"That thing..." VZ you have been on fire lately in the comedy dept., your one liners are killing me. And the stab you took at macco, killer!
You must be in a really good or really bad mood. Lol
Ps. If anyone wants to know the macco crack, by permission only.
