Post by: ajdmello on June 05, 2016, 04:14:24 pm
Ok guys i bought a frame to start my build with told it was from an 85 4x4 and it had motor mount on it.  also had plates on them to move the mount farther forward and was missing a crossmember and the other one was all bent up like they needed the room for a big block maybe not sure but i want to know if theses are right for a 350 and in the right place

Looks ok to me. Mounts seem to line up with the bump stop bracket, or at least where it is supposed to line up.

Now the crossmember that is a different story. It is supposed to be bolted to the motor mount brackets.

Ok thought they seemed to go there but the ones on my 6cyl truck had a few more holes so i wasnt 100 percent sure.

That crossmember came out of the 6cyl also im thinking i have to take off the bolts and then the vertical parts come off  and i can bolt it right to the mounts.
