Title: Tire size question
Post by: 80silveradosurvivor on June 10, 2016, 10:51:14 am
I have the factory aluminum wheels on my truck. It needs new tires i want to get a wider better looking tire on it. Anyone run these wheels? What size can they fit? Thanks (http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160610/6f6d8de4caf5b43967bf97abe11d70ec.jpg)

Love those, never had a chance to get some though.  15X7 rims.  P255 70R15 would be the choice if it were me.  These are on the steel 15x8 rally

Nice truck ! That size will work on the 15x7 wheel? Am i going to have a hard time finding a tire shop to mount them ?

Not sure of the current rules and regulations but I can tell you they will fit and wear fine.  Now if you were trying to put a 50 or 60 series width on a 7" rim they would wear the center of the tire out first
