Title: Can I run smaller tires?
Post by: boulky12 on June 19, 2016, 11:52:48 pm
Hey Guys. I'm running 29x12.5 R15 Hoosier Pro street Radials right now.

29x12.5 R15 comes out to 318/56 R15.

I was wondering if I could come down to a 295/55 R15 so that I dont have to spend so much money.

I'm looking @ $600+ to replace my Hoosier's right now.

I found some Tubeless Mickey Thompson 295/55 R15's for $209 a piece.

Will these fit?

I'd really appreciate the help on this. Thank you

I'm running 295 50 15 on the rears with no problem other than Speedo reading faster.

Nice truck. Thanks for replying.

So those tires I put in the link will fit my rims?

I got 10 inch rims in the back.

It should. Mine are 15x10" and fit fine. Obviously, check your offset and whether you have your truck lowered are other things to consider.
