So I moved my signal lights in behind my grill and put a couple LED bars where the signal lights were in the bumper. I can't decide if I like the look, or hate it. It will be practical to use, thats for sure, but I am the first guy to point out when someone makes a mod that doesn't jive with a vehicle.
What do you guys think of this, was it a bad move??

I have to say actually it looks pretty good.

Not bad at all, looks pretty good. Might be a tad better if the light was a bit longer and filled the whole space in the bumper. From here they look like they are an inch short or so.

Does the light reflect out from behind the bumper?
Looks good.

Thanks guys, I tried them out last night and they function great. You are correct they are a little short for the holes. I think I'll fab up some metal box inserts for them to go into the bumper to center them and sit in the hole better. As well a box will seal off the back side from tire splash.
They do sit flush with the bumper so no need to reflect out from it.
After sleeping on the decision to mount them there, and after trying them out last night I am happy with them. Thanks for the support. I'm always nervous making changes to factory set ups and light bars are an especially touchy subject for me. They can look quite ugly if done wrong in my opinion.

Sounds like you made a good decision. I agree with your reasoning. Did you install the square lights in the lower corners of the grille for the turn signals?
