If you are getting this error when uploading photos:
An Error Has Occurred! The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator.
We know about it. This is because we need to expand space on the forum to allow for more uploads. There is no reason to report this. Once we have space expanded I will reply here. Unfortunately right now is may be a couple weeks as I have sold a house with my garage and have to remove everything from in less than a month. So please be patient..

thank you :)

This should be fixed now. Please let me know if you have issues by replying to this post.

Just a side note, but imgur is a great place to upload images then just link them here in the posts..

I much prefer images to be uploaded to the forum. That way broken images don't occur and threads loose context when users move or delete their images.
I can't control that but I will always purchase drive space and add when needed.

Yeah, I don't know why people delete imgur images, it's free, lol. At least mass storage is cheap these days.
-
well i cleaned up my photo bucket due to being over the free limit. so half my pictures are missing now. one down fall to using the sites upload is you can only upload 4 pictures and most times you have to resize them even off the cell phone.
-
I thought I updated the pic limite, but more that 4 makes a LONG post.
The only limit I have in place right now is the size, I will look into this, but highest resolution off of phones are going to be HUGE...
-
yes i understand about the size issue. i try to keep a post to 4 pictures but if its directions to something then it kind of gets hard to keep pictures with the right steps

There may be a mod or something to resize images once they're uploaded and discard the larger originals, but I don't really know for sure. It would increase the server's cpu usages, too...
As far as I know, Imgur only limits the file size of the images to 20mb non-animated and 200mb animated, but no limit to how many images a user can upload.
Edit: just a quick look, I didn't see any mods for it, lol
-
I am limiting the number and sizes. People were uploading +10MB files before and filling up the server daily... Now it is ever few years.
-
it would be nice if the site automatically resized them for us. that way we wouldnt have to worry about it. if we want a better quality photo we could use another host
-
Need to find a solution for that.
