Title: Engine swap to MPFI 350
Post by: fiddler on July 13, 2016, 05:02:53 pm
I have a 1974 Chevy C10 step side.  It has some year of 350 in it with a TH400 transmission.  I want to get better mileage and smoother operation and quicker starts, as well as less pollution so I want to go with a drop in Multi Port Fuel injection engine when this engine gets tired...or I just decide to change it.  So what year of 350 engine would bolt up with the least hassle?  (I don't mind wiring, but I would rather not change location of motor mounts and transmission cross member and such if possible).  Looking at maybe something with a Vortec head on it and I could do an after market MPFI setup.  So what years would bolt up?  Thanks for the reply!
