Title: cab swap

Hi all ,  need some help Please :) 
I have a 77 swb stepside and the cab needs help LOL just found a 84 truck with a good cab :)
my question is
can I put my front clip on the 84 or 84 cab on the 77   ( like the 77 front )??????

from what I have found they are the same on the out side

Thanks ... that give's some idea  :)

if I get the 84 swb I would like to put my front clip and step bed on the 84 frame
