Title: lowering components
Post by: 254chamorro on August 25, 2016, 10:07:21 am
I bought a 84 c10 that was already lowered. I wanted to raise it back up a little close to stock so I can keep the 15" wheels because it is cutting into LCA and I don't want to spend over 1k on wheels and tires. I'm gonna use it to pull the new boat I'm getting so raising it would be beneficial as well. I was wondering how you can tell what components that were used to lower the truck mainly the front. Looks like they just used shackles maybe and flip kit in the rear from what I can see. Thanks

I see maybe looks like drop spindles but not sure about the springs. I want to keep the 15" rims and lowered but raising it seems like the solution for 15s

Anyone know how many coils are on a stock spring?

Stock spring from my 85

Don't worry about the fella on the left. Had to cut it to get it out.
