Title: Dont die on me

I just bought a 1989 Chevy  Silverado 1500 and the problem I'm having is that every time I go to give it more than half throttle the truck bogs down and seems to me like it's almost shutting off but I have not got a check engine light yet the truck idles okay only when I'm going to give it more than half throttle is when it starts to act up

Replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure.

Plugged exhaust, plugged intake, or losing fuel pressure. Or timing is off.
