So I changed pump, pulley, lines and bled it to the best of my knowledge. I cycled the wheel from lock to lock with wheels off the ground at least 40 times then manually turned the pump just about same amount before ever starting truck. I then started truck without cap on and kept eye on fluid level keeping it up. I then did same thing going lock to lock about 20 30 times. Meanwhile, keeping up with fluid level. I still have a whining noise and what seems to be a little air in the system still it's very aggravating. Anything I should do? I tried looking for other threads for info but couldn't find much. My truck is a work in progress. Bought it a month ago for 2k as it sits. (http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160904/912e0248b87ce35baa0ddadafe09ff89.jpg)

Sorry for late response. Work as usual. It does not have either of those. It was my first putting in a new one. I never had to before. Just always left power steering pump in engine bay. If air gets in it and still whines am I pretty much screwed?

It doesn't have any hydro boost or vacuum system. I just posted cause i thought I did all the right procedure to bleed the system but it is still whining. I'm out of town working haven't fooled with the truck in a couple weeks.

I think Irish Alley was referring to the brake system, if the truck has hydroboost brakes the procedure is slightly different as to get all the air out.
Are your belts tight? Looks like you did quite. Bit of stuff so far, maybe tighten the belt a bit more?

cant help you if we dont know what youre working on. most times we can tell you where a certain bolt is and what size it is but if we dont know what we (us and you) are working on then we (on here) cant really help

Sorry Alley! When I get back home I'll fool around with it some more and post some pics. The hydro boost is what goes from power pump to the brakes for better braking?

vacuum will have a vacuum booster behind the master cylinder. hydro boost the power steering pump is tied into to a block right behind the master cylinde
